Patio doors
are available in two, three and four pane configurations,
mid-rails and letterboxes can also be included to allow
use as entrance doors. The photograph to the right
illustrates the 'In-Line' sliding patio door, hover
the mouse over the photograph to see a 'Tilt and Slide'
design. One of the benefits of the Tilt and Slide
design is that you can have two different levels of
ventilation before you slide the door open, the latter
being the more recent of the two designs. Both offer the
traditional patio aspect of the outdoors and ease of
opening.
Made to
measure, individually tailored to the exact dimensions of
the existing opening. Alternatively have a suitable
window converted into a Patio Door with the removal of
masonry.

Without
doubt the vast glass expanse of any Patio Door enhances the occupying
room with a level of light that brightens even the dullest day. A Patio
Door is a means of greatly improving your view and access of the garden
- however it should not be a weak link in the security of your home. As
standard, both the 'In-Line' and the 'Tilt and Slide' Patio Doors,
benefit from high security multi-locks and sliding gear technology
with anti-lifting mechanisms. The glazing used is Toughened Safety
glass complying with B.S.6262 and is glazed internally, preventing the
glass from being removed from outside. |

Low Threshold
Patio Doors also
benefit from the introduction of 'low threshold' components
which reduce the likelihood of tripping in the doorway as
with the high setting of older designs. |
